Hard to believe Seattle's best traditional sushi restaurant is in a strip mall in Totem Lake! But it's true! Izumi is a gem. Absolutely everything on the menu is prepared beautifully according to Japanese tradition. You won't find absurd rolls here, the American crap-on-top-of-a-fried-cali-roll nonsense that seems to be everywhere these days. Just beautiful cuts of sashimi, perfectly prepared cooked entrees, traditional noodle dishes. Oh my word, it's just so good!
