I went in for a shellac manicure. Sign # 1 I should have left...As soon as the girl sat me down she tried to soak my hands in a dish with acetone that had been used on a previous client. I know because it had nail bits floating in it. Sign # 2...When she clipped my cuticles she flung the skin on the floor and said, ""Ugh."" Sign # 3...She yelled at me. After one coat had cure on my nails I reached for my smoothie to take a sip and she yelled at me like I was a child. Then, a while later I tried to take a closer look at the tips because it looked like she had missed the edges on several nails and she yelled again. I told her I was not touching them, but looking, and asked her, ""Am I not allowed to look at my nails?"" She muttered something under her breath and jerked my arm. Sign # 4...She got clear coat all over the skin underneath my nails (at least half of them.) I asked her to clean them up. She halfway attempted and when I asked her again she said, ""Your nails are too short"", as if it was my fault. I thought she was a nail technician and she should be able to do long nails and short nails without getting polish all over. I could go on to signs # 5 through a million, but you get the drift.
