Unbelieveable! HorribIe experience! I went into this shop at lunch time on Friday to get the tip of my rod replaced. They said I could come back in a bit. When I came back, all of the folks that had been there before were gone, and the one man present had no idea what I was talking about. Then I saw my pole, and when the guy handed it to me, not only was it not fixed, they HAD BROKEN IT!!!! Then he told me that they could not put a new tip on, because the pole was broken. What kind of a rod/reel repair shop cannot make a simple rod-tip-replacement repair without breaking the pole?!?!?! The there was the complete lack of concern about my property. I cannot even believe that I was treated this way. No Apology. No offer to make it right. He actually told me I could buy a repair kit at Academy and fix it myself. I will NEVER consider doing business with these people again.
