They wanted $1,200 to replace my rack and pinion for a noisy power steering pump. I was weary and took it to another local Honda dealer who properly diagnosed the issue, and the cost was $130.
Also, my wife was in the shop over a year ago and they recommended that she needed a new air filter. I had just replaced it a few thousand miles before and complained. Their service manager called me back and said that they made the recommendation based on the mileage of the car and didn't actually look at the air filter. He said that had my wife chosen to replace the filter, they wouldn't have replaced it had they seen it was new. Yeah right ... should have learned my lesson after this experience. Beware of taking your car here for service.
