Midway Dodge confirmed a vehicle advertised was still available, so I drove an hour from the NW suburbs to see it. Sure enough, the vehicle was already sold a few days ago. The salesman offered to show me another vehicle, but I declined. So many users on yelp have written about similar experiences. There's even a facebook page called ""I hate Midway Dodge!"" Unfortunately, I didn't read those reviews and wound up wasting gas and time visiting a dealership that didn't have the vehicle in stock. According to the Better Business Bureau, Midwest has had 88 complaints filed against it over that past 3 years. 34 were related to advertising. The salesman told me the front office doesn't know about sales until a few days later, so customers need to ask for the sales floor, where they have the most updated information. I've never heard of this before. What a way to treat customers!
