I tried to buy a used kayak from PPP. Nice enough to give me a test ride, helpful and knowledgable guide person. But the owner is a stiff. Wouldn't budge on an over-priced used boat, wouldn't even change the seat back pad from another used boat to make the sale. Didn't care if I came back or not, didn't offer an alternative boat for the price range I could afford, didn't discuss financing, didn't offer to call if something came in, just tried to squeeze me for as much as possible. I suppose he figures that as the only dedicated paddle sports store this side of Albion customers have no choice but to take it or leave it. Leave it! I drove to Syracuse to buy a Craigslisted boat rather than give this guy a dime. If you've got $3000 or $4000 to spend maybe he'll treat you better, but don't go here looking for a deal.
