Hired TruGreen to handle our rougly 1 acre yard. Did not come out to do an initial assessment. FYI-looking at your lawn from a satellite does not show crabgrass so they did not put down [proper pre-emergents for it. Crabgrass took over 2/3 of my lawn quickly. Technicians coming out (very nice & courteous guys) said we need to change course so I notified the office. Office staff kept scheduling wrong applications even though I asked them to stop. And yes they kept sending the bills even though applications were not authorized.
Now my lawn is erroding from lack of ground cover and TruGreen's solution is a $800+ package for applications this year. That is with me doing all the major work (seed, straw, aeration, etc).
I would not recommend.
