We called Newcomb and Company when our office air conditioner stopped working. Their technician came out to our office, claimed they fixed the unit, and then sent us a bill for over $600. The unit only cooled for a few hours and quit working almost immediately. We then called another company who came out to the office and found the air conditioner disassembled, and actually found the missing screws and some parts thrown into the woods next to the unit. The second company we called was able to fix and re-assemble the unit without incident, and the unit has worked fine since that time. Adding insult to injury, and even though we clearly explained our findings to Newcomb and Company who chose not to rectify the issue or alter the bill, they made the decision to send our unpaid invoice to a collections company who continue to call us over a year after the fact.
