Wow! What a pleasant experience! Our garage door broke- could not even manually lift the door and called the ""emergency "" number for Alan Conkling Garage Doors (they installed the door) on Tuesday (about 7 pm) and they never returned my call. There are 2 cars in the garage, many bikes, no parking in the neighborhood, so we needed it fixed ASAP. I phoned Conkling's again twice on Wednesday morning and got the run around, major attitude, need to pay for emergency service later that day, blah, blah, blah....Found these rave reviews about Girard's Garage Door Services and you were all right! The person who answered the phone said they could have a tech come over within a few hours (they were early for their appointment!) and explained the problem very clearly, gave me a fair quote, and had it fixed within an hour. Now THAT's service. Thank you!
