The system put in place at ALC gets results; plain and simple. All the effort and education to the patients and community from the doctors and staff is designed to not get people out of pain but to heal the individual by setting them free from victimized mind sets, poor health, and hopelessness.
All the above is accomplished because the patients are taught that the body is a self healing, self regulating organism that doesn't need any help, just no interference. Above all else, this is accomplished because the patients have acknowledged that their health is their responsibility and realize the importance of a properly functioning nervous system by maintaining it through care in the office for the rest of their lives.
Numerous lives have already been changed, whether it be by gaining the ability to sleep through the night, being able to stop taking medications because their body is healing, weight loss, or simply through gaining a better overall sense of wellness. All though that's just a few examples, there are many that fall in those categories and many more examples with countless more to come through the years.
