I purchased a pair of Smith Ski goggles at another store becuase they were closer to the lifts and I needed a pair right away.
Turns out the goggles had a design flaw that Smith was nice enought to acknowledge and suggest a different model that was only $15 more.
I tried returning the defective pair to the other store (begins with L ends with y), but was told they have a strict policy on returns but that I could contact Smith myself.
Very frustrated I walked down to Jans and explained the problem with the goggles I had and asked for some advice. They recommended the exact same pair that Smith had recommended, so I bought them knowing I still needed to deal with the other goggles. While I was checking out they asked if I'd like them to return the pair THAT I HAD NOT BOUGHT FROM THEM to Smith and see what Smith would do. They had no obligation to do this except for a commitment to customer service.
I will recommend Jans to everyone I know.
