Avoid this florist! I placed an order through FTD to be delivered on Valentine's Day, the driver attempted delivery no one was home, instead of leaving the flowers for which I had already paid, the driver took them back to the shop and the owner/manager told him to put them back out in the front cooler and resell them!!! Of course she didn't volunteer this information until I questioned her why she couldn't arrange for the delivery on 2/14 (I was speaking to her prior to 5PM and I live 5 minutes from her store), she said the driver had been delivering since 7AM; I then offered to come and pick them up, but she refused to let me. I asked what reason she could have not to allow me to pick them up (at this point I assumed that she was telling the truth that the driver had already ended his shift). Out of frustration she finally admitted that she told the driver to put the flowers in the front coolers and re-sell them!!! She sold the same flower arrangement to two different customers! I expressed my disbelief and disappointment with her actions, which may be illegal, but is definitely unethical. I told her I was going to notify FTD to ensure they know what type of florist with which they have a contract -- she hung up on me.
I have ordered flowers through FTD many times over the years, the is the first issue I have had with a florist, this is also the first time one of my orders have been sent to Walkers Flower Basket.
This is an unscrupulous business, which operates in a completely unethical and anti-customer manner.
