We are disappointed in Accredited Appliance in that their communication with us about being able to fix a wine refrigerator was poor. We asked before the service staff came out if they could fix it and they said yes. We had given them the make and model number of the unit we wanted fixed. When the unit was evaluated we were told that the repair cost would be more than the unit was worth. We paid for them to come out and we understand paying for service but I would not recommend this company because of their not taking the time to research it and provide us an honest assessment over the phone. More along the lines "Yes we can probably fix it but it will cost you more or about the same as a new unit." would have been greatly appreciated. I would give them credit in that we got next day service but that still doesn't make up for, in our opinion, poor communication. When you called to inquire about your wine cooler, we informed you that we do indeed work on wine coolers, but we cannot diagnose units over the phone. Proper diagnosis of any appliance malfunction requires examination by a qualified, experienced technician. The cost of our service charge covers the trip out to your home and the written estimate of the cost of repairs, which you received. Reputable companies know that diagnosing an appliance over the phone is neither accurate nor prudent. Our good reputation and our twenty-five years of success in the Valley has been built on our commitment to customer service over and above what other companies offer, as is evidenced by our exceptional warranty, our same-day service and our Saturday service at no extra charge to our customers.
