We looked at Acuras on the Web and randomly walked into Courtesy Acura last week to buy an MDX. We were met by salesperson Rick Armijo for a test drive. Before we got into the MDX, Rick suggested that, given the competitive cars we’d been considering, an RDX might be a better fit. A sales guy recommending a less expensive car? There was a first! We drove an RDX and bought one from Rick the same day. But there was another reason. Unlike our experience in the three previous dealerships (Subaru, Ford, and Honda) we’d visited, Rick understood that my wife was a more-than-equal partner in our decision. Notice to women: Courtesy Acura lives up to its name…and not just talking under the hood to guys.
