As someone who doesn't like to wear dramatic or obvious makeup, I have avoided this brand for years. It seemed like all of my friends who raved about it were performers or makeup fanatics who loved their crazy eyeshadows and extremely pigmented bases. Add that to the fact that every department store counter is buzzing with people, half of whom are still waiting to be helped, and it just never seemed like the right time to try it.\r

Well, last week, I was walking by the this location after watching a movie and peeped inside. It didn't seem too busy, and I was desperate for a new eyeshadow primer, so I stepped inside. The store was squeaky clean and a sales associate quickly asked if I was looking for anything. I described the type of primer I was looking for and she found it's equivalent right away. Then, I tentatively asked about bronzer, afraid that I'd end up with streaks of brown across my face (and let me tell you, this happens every time someone tries to apply makeup on me. I'm super-pale and other sales associates don't seem to take that into account before caking me with orange dust). The associate helping me actually chose the perfect, natural, light shade on the first try. I was impressed. She asked if I was looking for anything else and I declined, and was again shocked when he didn't start pushing more things on me. Overall, pleasant, stress-free experience and the sales associates actually know what they're doing. Will definitely be back.
