A month ago Superior moved me and my family to Poughkeepsie, NY. It is a very long haul from Florida to New York. We had to keep our items at Superior Storage for 2 weeks before it could be taken to NY. They did not charge us anything for keeping our things at their storage facitlity. They said the first month is free. This was great!! When my family and I arrived in NY, the guys from Superior arrived the next day. The driver called us the day before to let us know around what time he would be there. This made me feel really comfortable that the driver called and spoke with me personally from his cell phone. It also allowed my family to be out of the house by the time the movers arrived. It did take 7 hours to unload all of our items, but we did have a lot of things! A couple of our dining room chair legs were scratched and I pointed this out to the movers immediately when I saw it. The men apologized and the mover in charge called Superior's office on his cell phone. I was able to speak to the manager. He told me they would send a furniture repair man out to see if the damage could be fixed or if it had to be replaced. I have waited to write this post to see if this company was actually going to go through with what they promised me. Suprisingly, the furniture repair man did show up, and was able to fix the scratches on my dining room chairs. I have to say that this made me think very highly of this company. It would have been easy for them to have left and never even thought twice about my chairs, but they did not do that. They had the damage fixed when I was available, and it did not cost me a penny. I would use this company in the future if my family and I move again.
