All I can say is I am SO sad that my experience was NIT what everybody else had. I made an appointment the day before because my gums were hurting and it was time for a teeth cleaning anyway. I was so excited that they had an opening the very next day (I thought this was a good sign). I showed up to my appointment 20 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. I waited for TWO hours before they took me back. Granted I was early- so technically it was only I hour and 40 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time. \r

First it was the x-rays. The lady was nice but slightly incompetent with the x-ray machine. At this point I was already a little annoyed but I thought well it is worth the wait for a good dentist, so I remained calm. The x-ray person could not figure out the machine at first and re-started the computer twice (it was not exactly a speedy re-start). Then she continued to miss my teeth and had re-x-ray four different teeth- causing me more radiation than necessary; she even cut my gums with the tool and when I told her she said ""Yeah, sometimes that happens"". No apology-NOTHING. \r

The dentist came in and he was nice. He was informative and asked if I had questions. The only thing I was confused about is how I managed to get 5 cavities in ONE year? I am still unsure if I buy it all. He said another lady would come in to discuss my treatment options. This woman seemed nice, but then she told me that it would $3900 to fix my cavities. I wanted to cry right then! I said well clearly I can't afford that so I will just have my teeth cleaned today and deal with that later- maybe one tooth at a time. She said they had to charge me $80 to clean my teeth because the dentist recommended some laser treatment and they would not do the standard cleaning. I was so annoyed that at that point I was just like get me out of here! I had been there for over two hours and I wanted to be gone. I just explained that I cannot afford an additional $80 right now and left. Although I explained to her that I could not afford it I still felt like she was trying to ""sell"" me on it; talking about payment plans and so forth. I was like- I CAN'T afford it- stopping pushing it (I didn't say that, but I wanted to).\r

Moral of the story- if you have over two hours to waste of your day Pacifica dental is the place for you. They are clearly overpriced because I have had a crown before and it was like $250 with my insurance. They wanted to charge me like 1k! So if you have the money- go here!\r
