Youth Care was such a positive experience for my daugther and our family. The program was instrumental in providing the help my child was in need of as well as our whole family! There is no doubt that my daughter's experience at Youth Care turned her life around and provided her a solid foundation of skills and tools that will be with her forever. I believe the treatment process is where it can begin. Although we still had our bumps in the road when she returned home, the work she had done while in treatment has transformed her ability to deal more effectivley with herself, others and her life. The staff and therapists were top of the line and treated us like family. My daugher cried when she had to leave the safety of her new found relationships. The kids develop a lifelong bond . They root and express support for the others and keep them in their thoughts. They share so much with one another during there stay there. It is hard enough as a parent to send your child away from home.The weekly support with the therapists were a blessing. Being at Youth Care, there was never a doubt that she was in the best of hands and safe. We had a few unexpected suprises with her journey to Youth Care. It reunited our family and brought my ex-husband and I back together again which was not part of the plan prior to the program.... Miracles happen with the help of people and programs like this. I hope Youth Care will be able to provide services to people for many years to come.... My daugther talks of possibly returning someday on the other end of the spectrum and possibly being a counselor. Wow!
