The was referred to Mike Dixey when I was a Junior in high school. I initially went to him for his total baseball workouts that he was giving during the winter months to prepare ball players for there upcoming season. He is very knowledgable about baseball in the form of how the body works but also in the rules and up to date information in pro baseball.
In the summer of my Junior year in High school i returned to Mike Dixey to start rehab on my shoulder. I had over use of the rotator cuff. Mike was very patient with me and got me on shoulder exercises that i still use today. He also put me on a throwing program that got me back on the mound in roughly 4 months. I can guarantee that i have never been around someone who is this knowledgable about the body and what caused my injury.
I saw Mike again in the summer before my Junior year of college because i thought i had torn my UCL. Again Mike did an incredible job locating the problem and getting me the help and plan i needed so i can pitch again. I am currently a redshirt Junior at St. Cloud State, i give a lot of thanks to Mike and Ortho Rehab in EP for keeping me healthy and allowing me to continue to play college baseball.
