Please, if you have any inkling of what Italian food and good service should be, STAY AWAY from this hole! It started out with their HORRIBLE stale ""homemade"" bread, and at that point I should have known, because the bread is always the first sign of how a meal is going to be. The fried calamari and shrimp were cooked from frozen and completely tasteless, my wife's ""fluke"" was so old, that she refused to eat it for the fear of getting sick. Lastly my veal saltinbocca tasted like a salt lick, not to mention prepared without half of the true ingredients. Oh, did I mention that we were kept waiting at the front door for 10 minutes before being seated in a half full restaurant. It's obvious what keeps these people in business is the tourist trade, but it is people like me (Siesta Key resident) who keeps these businesses afloat in the off season, well the experience was so bad that I will make it a point to tell everyone I know not to eat here. I'm actually embarrassed to share a heritage with these phonies.
