After moving to NC, I set out to find a good salon and stylist. I hopped online a read rave reviews about Samuel Cole, and made my initial appointment with Alexis. After waiting several weeks for my appointment and driving an hour and a half to get there, I was very excited to (finally) get my hair done. I arrived half an hour early and waited...and waited...and waited...until an hour past my scheduled appointment time. No one spoke to me; I saw Alexis walk by with another client about five times, taking her time to show her every product under the sun, etc. I was never acknowledged, no one bothered to say ""Hey, Alexis is running behind"", and Alexis herself never said a word to me. Finally I was tired of waiting and left. A few weeks passed without any luck finding a salon with better reviews, so I decided to just try seeing someone else at Samuel Cole. So, I called and booked with Carolyn. She was booked up, and I had to wait almost a month. Finally, my appointment date rolls around; I had taken off work because they are so far away from me, and I'm busy getting ready to head up for my 2:00 appoitment when I receive a phone call asking where I was as my appointment was at 9:00am according to AmanDUH. It was not scheduled for 9:00, however, and I even had a voicemail saved (from Amanda, in fact) confirming it for 2:00. Instead of fixing the problem, she basically told me too bad, that Carolyn wouldn't be able to see me at 2:00 so I was out of luck. I called a manager and complained, and she offered to throw me in at 2:00 with two different stylists that I hadn't read any reviews on. I ultimately decided I wasn't going to bother heading in. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever seen at a salon, so I guess I'll start looking elsewhere. Very disappointing.
