I know I'm going to get slaughtered for this. I don't really follow the Lord frankly...only because im lazy and want to live my own way. But you know what..i have way more respect for someone like me than people like you. If you were honest with yourselves you would know that the real reason (deep down) you have issues with a church like that is because you can't stay there and still have a version of yourself...something ticked you off..something didn't go your way...and the leadership is cruel right? A Pastor suggested (because there's no way they did it by force) that you not have fellowship with family members who have a different vision of ""the kingdom"". (yes,,my dad was a pastor before he died..i know the talk). And even inside yoursself you knew the fellowship would pull you in a different direction..but you just couldnt give it up. Or more to the point..you didn't like someone else telling you what to do...someone else who knew better. I may be going to hell, i may live how i want..but at least im not deceived about it and holding to a form of godliness. You either want it all or you don't. Read the Bible. It's full of verses talking about separation and that enemies of a man shall be the members of his household. As far as leadership that controls goes..take Moses..or Joshua or any other leader! The people either had to listen or grumble in their tents and get destroyed. Most of you sound like those that grumbled in their tents and now are separated and bitter. Im tired of reading it and there are about 25 people that I know that feel the same way. You are deceived...pick a side and stick to it..but don't hold to your forms of godliness...that's all it is.
