Great Bath Remodel 1/2/2012

I had signed a contract for a master bath remodel with a contractor who ?took the money and ran.? I called for other bids to complete the job, two weeks before Christmas. Rick came and looked at the project, promised he could have it completed to usability by 12/31/11. I accepted his bid and he started working on 12/20/11. Mr. Sparks and his crew were here every day, all day, except Sundays, from 12/20/11 to 1/2/12. They work smoothly as a team, with Rick working and supervising every step of the way. He did take three hours off one day to go to the tile place with me and help me pick out all new tile selections as the other contractor had also taken all the tile I had purchased and we couldn't get it reordered in time for new install over the holidays. Rick checked with me to make sure he was doing what I wanted done. His work is meticulous, and he is very detail oriented. He does beautiful cabinetry work in his own shop and made a great little cabinet for me. He did a full remodel, including new electrical outlets, new tile on floor, counter bath surround and shower stall. He also converted a 24"" door to a 32"" and added a pocket door. They did daily clean-up and tried to make sure they didn't unnecessarily bother me and my animals. I have found Rick to be honest in his appraisals of what is needed and what can be expected and to keep his promises. I heartily recommend him. Everyone should have a chance to experience working with a reliable, honest and talented remodeler. (And I?m not getting reimbursed or compensated in any way for this review.) Rick has genuinely impressed me with his conscientiousness and his abilities; he bent over backwards, and sideways, to please me and give me the renovated bathroom of my dreams. more
