i am very thankful that mttc exists. sure, you may have to wait in line the same way you wait to see a doctor, or to pay for items at the store, or in traffic on your way to work...you get the picture. such is life!
People need to understand that while in treatment, you will only get out of it what you put into it and unfortunately many patients at mttc only utilize the dosing line part of their services. I have been in the program for 2 years and attend relapse prevention group twice a week and have attended regularly for 1 1/2 years. I have 1 on 1 sessions with my counselor biweekly and i faithfully attend those sessions. MTTC has not only changed my life, it has improved my quality of life 100%. My counselor has never failed to be there for me and the majority of staff are readily available and eager to help those who TRULY want to be helped. I have had my share of issues since beginning treatment and while i would have liked for everything to have gone ""MY"" way, I probably wouldnt be here if they had.
Bottom Line...it works if you work it. Ill say it again, you only get out of treatment what you put into it. If all you are there for is a dose a day, you are cheating yourself & setting yourself up for failure and you cannot blame the staff at MTTC for that.
For those who truly want help, are sure they NEED this type of treatment, and are willing to put a lot of work into a plan of recovery, the staff at MTTC will embrace you and assist you in getting your life back,
