I have been at Aveda before, and usually the service and products are great, but this time it was just ok. I got a mani/pedi, and noticed some of the nailpolish layers to be a little thick, and the topcoat was so thick it was stringy and the student had to go through 3 kits to find a good one. I mentioned something to the students instructor and she said that some of the nailpolish colors are older and used a lot.... well, maybe they shouldnt be using them if theyre not in the best condition anymore? The quality of the products has always been great as well, not chipping and lasting a long time, but this time both my toes and hands already have nails that are chipped and its been less than 12 hours! Regardless, I will probably go again, and even though it is an Aveda Institute and not a regular salon, I still expect Aveda level quality!
