I went to Hudec Dental because I had some toothaches in 2010. Dr. Christopher informed me that I needed a root canal on the right side and a filling in a decayed tooth on the left. His assistant took Xrays and than the process started to do the root canal on the right side of my mouth. Dr. Christopher completed it the same day. I asked was he finished with it completely he told me yes.It was done in about 1/2 hour! This was my first root canal. (So I thought) Then, He mentioned that I could schedule an appointment to come back to get a filling on the left side. I asked shouldn't I have a crown on this tooth. He looked like he was surprised I asked about this. He responded yes. I knew my insurance wouldn't cover it but I should have still been informed about the crown regardless of my insurance. This procedure could have been paid for out of my pocket. I thought that unprofessional and not fair to have not said anything about a crown. I was given prescriptions.
A couple days passed and I was in bad pain and called the dental office. Then, the following week at work my tooth broke. I was given appointment for August 26 at 3pm for the left filling. While there I told the Dentist I had called about the severe pain with the root canal. I told him my tooth had broke off too. Dr. Christopher asked, ""How do you know that you're in pain?""
