We used to absolutely love this restaurant . . . we have been going here EVERY WEEKEND for lunch/dinner for many years. But it seems that management has been really inattentive over the last 6 months or so. Example: Yesterday we went there for lunch and had to wait for 10 minutes before the waitress even bothered to take our order. During this 10 minutes she was sweeping and cleaning dirty utensils off the restaurant floor. After she finally took our order (and for some reason she had no knowledge of the menu items), I had to go up front later and ask her to please bring us some water, silverware, and our complimentary chips & salsa. (I found her up front ""chit-chatting"" with the other employees there). We ordered a large cheese dip earlier and she waited to bring it WITH our meals. She then proceeded to spill the cheese dip over much of our table, and we told her to just return the dip to the kitchen because we ordered it for our taco chips and not for our meals. When she wasn't ""visiting"" with the other employees at this restaurant she continued to sweep and pick up various items from the floor. She put the broom and dustpan down and immediately served our meals WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. The food here is still quite good . . . but the service is horrible most of the time. I think management either needs to be attentive to what's going on ... or else there needs to be someone else with better manager skills hired to take care of the service issues. We plan to never return to this restaurant again ... which is disappointing because we do enjoy the food. If the wait staff is allowed to serve food with dirty hands I am really wondering what the cooking staff is allowed to do!
