I thougt all temp companies were alike. Bring them in, put them out, and couldn't care less about you. You were just a number. Well, they're not at all alike. I got a call from a woman at Trak that had saw my resume on monster. She said she was impressed with my resume, and wanted to talk to me more. I thought I had nothing to lose. I had been out of work for 9 months and not so much as an interview in that time. I met her the next day and felt like she really wanted to get to know who I was and what I was looking for in the long term, not just a quick job. We talked about 45 min and I felt excited. She said I had to do some tests first but to do them tonight and she would get back with me tomorrow. To my surprise she called me the next day and said, she wanted to ask if she could forward my resume to her client. I of course told her yes. That same afternoon I got a call saying they wanted to interview me... To make a really long story short I got the job, and at a great place. They never advertise on their own and only use Trak to get new team members. I couldn't have got this job without their help. They really wanted to know what I was really wanting to find and found me a place that I actually matched. If you are looking for a job, you got to call them. Trust me it worked for me, I'm glad I answered the phone.
