When I called to make an appointment the other day, I was put on hold and referred to the accounting department for an unpaid bill. Before I see my dentist, or get my teeth cleaned, I have to see someone from billing to sign papers. It seems like Madison Family Dental has it backwards. Of course, you need to get paid, but every message I get from the practice is that it is "payment first, care second." I really like my dentist and staff (and, to be clear, the billing staff is always polite too) but I have paid thousands of dollars to your practice, always on time, and am tired of being treated as a point in your revenue stream first. Whatever "dental management seminars' you have been going to have been giving you the wrong advice. Treat patients like patients.
