Unless you are seeking only to get a cleaning, stay away from Dr. Howatt. I used to be her patient for over 2 years and had no major complaints about her services while they remained basic: cleanings and check ups. However, when I needed to receive a more thorough dental care and it was time for her to demonstrate her skills, she failed at every level -- skill, compassion, and consideration. I cannot tolerate unprofessional treatment and poor work that needs to be redone. So my advice is to stay away.
