I was very impressed with their secretary, Ann, who responded quickly to my email. However, once Peter arrived at my house to do a walk-through of what we wanted, I was completely turned off.
He was extremely rude and rolled his eyes when we told him some of our ideas. When I told him I didn't want bushes in front of our window well because I like the natural light that lets in, he told me ""absolutely not, you must have bushes in front of it and we'll do a dwarf something or other that is about 3' tall"" and got into an argument with me. He must have missed the ""customer is always right"" memo. He would not provide any ideas (even when I would say we weren't sure what to do with an area, he'd shy away from throwing any ideas out).
He finally made it very clear he didn't want anything to do w/ us when he told us it would cost about $50k to do our front yard. This is for a $235k house on .18 acre! We've since taken our money elsewhere.
Don't waste your time with someone who doesn't care and won't listen to what you want!
