My experience with Grand Building was not pleasant. Some of the people who work there are fine, but the owner was biligerent when questioned about substandard work. The finished product was okay, but only because he has fairly good subcontractors. During my conversations with him regarding questions I had about certain aspects of the job, he was rude and biligerent, and threatened to walk away from the job. I found him to be very threatening at times and wish now that I had checked him out more carefully. Do not write personal checks to him for work done as the AZ ROC says this is a no no.. Do not sign a contract which has no company listed or has a company listed which you cannot track at the AZ ROC website. Do not plan to have a good experience with him if you question any aspect of the job. I wish I'd never met him.
