So I research this restaurant on the internet before heading out on vacation to West Hollywood/L.A. My girlfriend and I arrive at the restaurant and we were seated immediately. It took at least 20 minutes before anyone came and asked if we were ready to order. We finally ordered and we ordered the same meals and drinks. They brought us out the drinks and 5 to 10 minutes later they bought one plate of food and put it right in front of me. Then the waiter looked at my girlfriend and asked if she had ordered anything. Before she could even answer he said ""um, ok"", then he kinda tapped the table and walked off. Two drinks and one plate of food at the table is not a good look. Esecially when everyone else at the restaurant on the inside and and outside is enjoying their lovely evening, and we're the only African Americans in the place. And to think that I actually made it a point to try this restaurant while I was out there I never felt so offended in my life and that's the truth. In contreast our night turned out great after we ended up eating at El Compadre Mexican restaurant. We have lots of Mexican restaurants in the Bay Area and El Compadre honestly was one of the best I've ever tasted and the service there was top of the line, no kidding. If it wasn't for El Compadre, I would have ill feelings about dining in this area of L.A.
