Had the surgery... wanted to be able to not wear glasses for distance. Knew I would have to wear readers after the surgery. No one told me about the distance at arms length being affected. I am a nurse and went for 6 months not being able to see well before I could have a second surgery. No one listened to what I needed. I would actually get so frustrated at my f/u appts I would cry and no one cared. They refused to give me a glasses prescription after the surgery and I had to find readers that were strong enough to kind of read at arm length....at times wearing two readers at once at work!! very disappointed! I tell everyone I know of my experience. I also contended with dry eyes for about one year... taking expensive Restasis plus 3 other drops. I should never have been a candidate for surgery. Beware!!! Lots of slick advertisement do not make a good, compassionate Dr. Shame on you Dr. Pepose and your associates! more
