I love Ding How! The steamed dumplings are the closest thing to dim sum that I have ever ordered in a downtown Baltimore Chinese restaurant. They are very tender and full of delicious flavor. The next thing I ordered was the General Tso Chicken. The sauce was obviously homemade, with tiny pieces of orange zest and ginger in it. Fabulous. The chicken was very crispy and not greasy, like you get in other places. Oh yeah, and the wonton soup is out of this world, crazy good. Besides great food, the service is also a treat. The man behind the bar, who greets you upon your arrival, always has a welcoming smile for you. And our server equally friendly as well as helpful with suggestions. Plus we got complimentary hot tea with dinner, and orange sherbet with our fortune cookies at the end of the meal. This place rocks, for both its food and service. I should mention that the atmosphere takes me back to the sit-down Chinese restaurants that were way more popular in the '80s. It's retro in a cool way.
