Even with my strong dislike, and fear, of needles, acupuncture has always been of interest to me. All of the people I know who have gone had always wished they'd not waited so long to go. With a Groupon in hand, I almost chickened out on going. I'm so glad I followed my intuition as it's been life changing. As a beginner runner I was very frustrated with the pain in my left knee and even with a support band it was challenging. My first run after my initial consultation and treatment with Vanessa, I ran without the brace (honestly didn't even think about putting it on) and had absolutely zero pain. Amazing. On the initial paperwork I had a long list of things I'd like to gain from acupuncture and after 6 visits I definitely feel more like myself than I have in quite a few years. Vanessa has such an intuitive spiritual presence, she has a gift that has both blessed my life, as well as saved my life. The downward spiral of grief and sadness that had surrounded my path is lifting. I'm forever grateful to her.
