The guys who work in the bays are wonderful. Ownership, not so much.
Benny over-inflated the cost of a set of tires I wanted, because he wanted me to purchase another brand instead. He was going to charge almost $900 for tires and installation. I bought them elsewhere for $98/each. Benny said he'd install them, just bring them in. When I showed up, he ""changed his mind"" and said he wouldn't install them! I asked why, and he first said, ""You're blocking other customers"" (no one else was there). Then he said, ""I've only got two guys working"" (they were sitting in front of a fan with no other work). Finally, he admitted, ""You didn't buy your tires from me.""
Went down the street to Fuquay Tire and Automotive. GREAT guys. FAST, courteous service. CHEAPER than Benny's. No hassles, no problems -- LOVE these guys.
We'd been going to Benny's for years, and spent thousands of dollars in truck, camper, and boat trailer tires. And that's how they repay loyal customers? No, thanks.
Used to love these guys. Gone downhill.
