My husband and I are vegan and we love Cafe Trang. They have a fair sized vegetarian section in the menu, and you'll notice if you look through the rest of the menu that many of the other dishes can be made vegetarian by substituting tofu for the protein. They also say on the menu which dishes can be made vegan.
One of our favorite dishes is the lemongrass tofu, which is tofu triangles coated with lemongrass and curry and pan fried with hot chilies and curried onion. Another favorite is the vegetarian malaysian noodles, which are are curried broad noodles with tofu and vegetables mixed in.
The reason I gave Trang 4 instead of 5 stars is that a couple of times, out of the 20 or 30 times we've eaten there, the food was sub-par. I'm thinking they may have been training a new chef.
