There are plenty of shops near where I live but none my neighbors would recommend. I've never used citysearch for anything mechanical because i prefer word of mouth but I had neglected to get a tune up on my 2001 ford explorer sport for some time and was planning a trip to Maine, so I took a chance on what the reviewers were saying. I don't drive much but when I did I noticed the car was using quite a bit of gas, didn't have the power I remembered and if i hit a pothole or bump the car would lose stability, jerking the steering. Not good for a semi-long drive. I made an appt with Mitchell and brought the car in. He was straight forward, honest and took care of the stability problem, front left ball joint. All the parts were kept so I could see them, He didn't try and sell me ANYTHING I didn't need, the price was very reasonable, and most importantly-the car ran fantastic! He earns his rating. Excellent job.
