Dropped off my auto pool vac for repair. Was told it would take a few days. 8 days later I got a call from the old man who informed me (incoherently, he talked in circles)he did not know what was wrong with the vac and had to call the company. He said he would call us back. We stopped in the store 5 days later and found a pool vac sitting in the service department with OUR name on it that was NOT ours!!! We knew because of distingushing wear marks and the vac bag was a different color! He looked around on the shelves and pulled a vac with someone else's name on it and said it was ours (we could tell this part of the unit WAS ours) but the cart was OBVIOUSLY not our cart. It had A LOT of rust on it, and our unit did NOT! The worst part of this is (I can clean up the rust)is that the electrical box - which is a VITAL part of the system, could possibly also not be ours. He said our unit needed new motor that would cost $200b4 labor. Spoke to manufacturer.they said motor $60! CROOK!
