time for my first bad review. i initially created my citysearch account to make sure the people/companies that shined really got the recognition they deserve, but i just cannot with a good conscience leave out mention of places that you absolutely must avoid. and this is on the top of that list! the norwalk chuck e cheese has the most unprofessional workers i have seen in any business. period. i dont mind that they are young teenagers who sought first-time part-time jobs. that's fine and what you expect from this place. but this store in particular has taught nothing about professionalism to a single employee that ive encountered! they all talk in slang, speak to you like you are a person they are talking to on the streets, have unprofessional style while at work, and honestly just don't give a damn about whether you leave satisfied or not! i dont know who trains the employees at this store, but that person needs to be fired or seriously re-trained himself! because there is a definite lack of customer service skills being taught at this store! to add insult to injury, this is the smallest chuck e cheese i have ever seen. that means it is a nightmare on a busy day because there is nowhere to sit and there are barely any games. not to mention they always have broken games here too, which leaves you with hardly anything to keep your kids busy. on a couple occasions i spoke with the manager, he was just as rude as the employees. it's not hard to see where they get their (lack of) skills from. he must be really good friends with whoever he reports to because he definitely is not in any fear whatsoever that there would be even the slightest consequence for providing sub-par service. if your child wants to go see the rat, then just hop right back on the freeway and go to the next store. even if youre a regular here and you think it is fine, just wait until you see how much better it can be! the service in la mirada is better and i think that store is a little bit bigger. pico rivera is okay too. but i take the young ones to the location in bell. its so much bigger, they have way more games, and the managers (i think their names are violet and letty) actually care when you bring feedback to them. it's like going from a broken see-saw to a brand new disneyworld! your kids' faces will really light up and you won't have to deal with the unprofessionalism. but whichever one you choose, don't let it be norwalk! you may as well just go nor - walk your way right back to your house and order pizza delivery while your kids play nintendo. more
