I was required by city regulations to get a fire alarm system installed. The installation was very expensive (over $3000) and did not include everything that was needed. I had to pay another $600 for additional equipment. Then I had a ground fault alert and they sent out a technician to check it out. Next thing I know I have another bill for $95. Here's the note on the invoice ""Checked ground fault. System is normal."" For that they charged me $95 and never told me ahead of time about the fee. I tried to work something out with them but refused to compromise in any way, so I'm finally leaving their company.
