I had an appointment to pick up a rental car and arrived for it. They did not have a car that would have been in the price range the insurance company would pay. I was given a car they had on the lot, and ended up being charged $30 in surcharges for the "upgraded" car. I was told they would not charge me, but it showed up on my debit card regardless. I am extremely put off by these bait/switch tactics, and know that this kind of thing is considered fraudulent in PA. I have filed a BBB complaint.
