These people may have been honest in the past, but things seem to have really changed. I took two different cars in in the past 6 months. On the newer (48k miles), recently acquired vehicle I was told that, among other things, I needed ***$1600*** of front end suspension work. Because this was so much money, especially for this vehicle, I consulted others: a dealer, a tire shop, my engineer and car-tinkering neighbor, and another very positively reviewed mechanic. ALL FOUR INDEPENDENT SOURCES WERE UNANIMOUS IN SAYING NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR!!
