Tom Wojciechowski is the owner of Wojo's and is extremely motivated and professional. My experience began with a misunderstanding with a Wojo's salesman and Tom immediately intervened to ensure my needs were met. On a professional level I rate Tom at 5+ stars.
I would have loved to have given Wojo's an overall 5 star rating across the board however I cannot for the following reasons. A perfect experience was marred by less than satisfactory beginnings and endings.
Bottom line analysis is:
The Good- The job was done well, the owner and installers worked hard to satisfy my needs as a customer and the new unit cools great. The price was fair and the work done very well and very promptly.
I had a new furnace and air conditioner within days and the job was expedited to make sure we had cooling by the end of a very hot day.
The Bad- The experience with the salesman was a potential deal killer. I can accept that it was likely a busy person having a bad day and move on.
At the end of the job the only complaint I have is that a new thermostat was installed, with my knowledge and consent, and the programable, digital thermostat that I had previously used was taken and discarded by the installer. When I called Wojo's to find out what happened to my old thermostat I was told the client is always asked if they want to get rid of replaced thermostats. I was not asked. I expected the replaced thermostat to be here when the installers left.
I did not like the programing function and talked to the installer expressing my opinion of programable thermostats in general but NEVER expressed any desire to get rid of mine.
Apparently the assumption was that because I said I did not like the thermostats program function that I had no plans for it and wanted him to throw it away for me. The bottom line is that I wanted to keep it.
