I recently moved to North Raleigh and having a very good hair stylist at my prior location, my neighbors recommended that Samuel Cole's Salon was the best in our area. After my first appointment, my hair cut was perfect and I could not have been happier with my color and highlights. However, when I returned for another cut and color, it turned out to be a disaster - definitely one of the worst haircuts I've ever had and the stylist couldn't take the time for a blow dry and style after I came back for the color. Are the stylist being pushed too much to give their patrons the time they deserve for the charges they incur? My initial visit ended up being $200 not including hair products I purchased. I also left her a $40 tip - cheap I am not, but I expect something for my money. We deserve better and will get it somewhere else.
