...HONESTLY WHERE DO I START WITH THE HORROR????...
I want to start first off by saying.. in my opinion, ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS on this listing.. are phony.. the staff is on here all day (because they do nothing else) writing positive reviews to make the company look better and they are getting paid by our hard earned rent money do so!!..
LETS BE SMART FOLKS... they are trying to scam you before you even walk through their door!!
Ok so where do i start. ... It was all positive and sunshine and flowers when you walk in that door all up until you get the keys handed to you. Once we moved in everything was dandy.. until I realized we didn't have any garage door openers, nor mailbox keys. It took 2 or 3 weeks to get the garage door openers, and I got tired of running to the post office to get my mail. So I got the Mailbox re keyed at my own expense. I LATER FOUND OUT THE REASON FOR ALL THIS TINY FIASCO WAS BECAUSE THE COMPANY DIDN'T EVEN NOTIFY THE OWNERS THERE WERE TENANTS, THEY WERE TRYING TO POCKET THE FIRST MONTHS RENT!!!(according to the homeowner)
So during the monsoon season, as expected, strong winds and heavy rain, no big deal. Until our back fence, and side fence blew into the neighbors yards!! NEIGHBOR DOGS WERE RUNNING IN MY YARD!! So of course in that moment, we as well as the neighbors propped the fences up and planned on getting them repaired that Monday after contacting Rathbun. Also on this stormy day our extremely large mesquite tree split in half and covered half the road and the neighbors yard, since the office was closed we took several hours chopping up this tree and getting it out of the street and yards. Come Monday a phone call as well as an email with pictures attached with the damage were reported. ... I WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED for a response. Called again a week later, then 2 weeks later, and so on, by this time i noticed the roof leaking, and noticed other minor issues with the home. I finally (2 months later!!!!!!) got a response not from the business but the owner, he knocked on my door and said he had just heard of the damage which needed to be fixed.. I find it appalling that the business was so neglectful, not even responsible enough to notify the owner 2 months later..
Of course the fences were fixed after this, the tree had already been chopped and trashed. Thanks to the owner for at least fixing the fences, and attempting to fix the leaking kitchen sink drain...
This leaky kitchen sink drain was the other ""minor issue"" .. it was mild at first, but several months later it was pretty bad, i got tired of emptying buckets every day, and of course I made a second, third and fourth report about this, it took another MONTH to get a response from the company, and not until after I threatened with legal action did they send someone out the following day to repair it and cover the warped and slightly moldy cabinets.
ALL IN ALL THEY ARE A HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT COMPANY, I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO BE OUT FROM UNDER THEM.
THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH AND THEN YOUR LUCKY IF YOU GET ANY OTHER TYPE OF COMMUNICATION. And not to mention the moron office staff, specifically the redhead 12 year old at the front desk, completely disrespectful, rude, and a slightly less than intelligent.
RENTER BEWARE.. SAVE YOURSELVES, DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THE CHARM THEY FIRST WILL GIVE YOU, ITS NOT WORTH YOU WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!
