This is a mechanic who I've used for 8 years, over the life of three different cars. In every case, Koko has always given me a reasonable estimate up front, and the final cost has almost always been exactly what was expected (occasionally LOWER than initially estimated!) An honest mechanic is an indispensable tool in LA. Koko's word is good as gold from my experience, and his work is always great. He's not a particularly chatty guy, but then I wouldn't be either if I were as busy as he is. He gets the job done, as promised, with no fuss. And he doesn't back-pedal. I suggest calling beforehand, and discussing your repair with him on the phone. He'll tell you exactly what to expect and usually... his estimate is the lowest.
