I went in January to have a haircut that I purchased as a coupon deal, so I had no idea how my cut would be and I was nervous about going to someone new. I have curly, graying hair (letting it go natural), so I needed someone who knows how to advise a cut that will look different everytime the weather changes!
Mary cut my hair. We decided to let it go VERY short. While my haircut took some getting used to, I have gone 6 months without cutting it--I'm going back today, actually, but I wanted to say that they job was so good that I've had different ""looks"" in the 6 months because with the curls, the style changes with the growth. If it is not cut well, it's really obvious.
The salon as a whole is really friendly too--and very accomodating with last minute requests. That's why I'm going back, even after 6 months of not being there and with a higher price than my initial coupon deal.
