It is the original pizzeria in America and spawned all the other NY Classic Brick Oven Pizzerias!
Still one of the best in the City! The pizza is always perfectly cooked with a slight char on it! Salads are excellent and they expanded the place a few years back to include a well-stocked bar while you wait to dine.
The clam pizza is very good as well with fresh shucked clams on pizza dough with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh parmigiana cheese cooked in the brick oven to perfection.
If you have never been here you don't know what you are missing the classic brick oven pizza that they invented is to die for.
Remember to bring cash because they do not accept credit cards! They have an ATM in the restaurant if you forget.
